sir, I am working has a (civil) Sr medical physicist in CMH,I want to work as a Army officer. As I observe there is no post for medical physicist in army in AMC. but if i apply in AEC as a caption in physics, so can I Transfer here in AMC as medical physicist(caption) to serve in CMH?

1. No, pensionable service requirement is governed by a different policy, which is a minimum of 10 years of service as of now.
2. Preferred for the same post and pay. There is no difference in rank given based on preference, as the opening slot is of a specific rank.

Also note, 7 years bond will get extended too as you proceed in your service and you will not be able to leave Army with 100% confirmation after completion of 7 years.

Ok, I understand! Is it also not possible to answer these two questions?

1. As I read in the advertisement the serving bond is 7 years, is the incumbent eligible for pension after serving for this period?
2. It is also mentioned in the AD that the candidates with PhD will be preferred, in this case what is the expected Rank/Salary? Any clue?

Currently there is an open competition for DSSC in Pakistan Army Education corps (AEC). I am overage (38 years) and already wrote a letter to GHQ for granting me permission to appear in the test. I have done my PhD (Slovakia) and Postdoc (Germany) and currently working as Assoc. Prof. at a foreign university. What are the chances to get overage permission? What is the expected Rank/Salary? and what higher rank can I go after my induction?
