Flying Officer Marium Mukhtar got martyred today when her plane crashed near mianwali.

She was flying the training plane of PAF for operational training mission which got crashed.

It’s being said that there was some fault in the plane that lead to the accident.

Rescue teams have been sent to the crash site already.

This is not the first incident when faulty training plane resulted in taking the life of the training officer, these incidents are common and happened last year too.

May Allah forgive her and give her high place in Jannah. May Allah prevent similar incidents in future, ameen.

Sargodha Air base(PAF base Mushaf)

PAF Sargodha base which is also called “PAF Base Mushaf”. This Base is located in Sargodha, Punjab province of Pakistan. It is the central air command of PAF headquarters. The old name of that base was PAF Sargodha base until 2003, then it renamed in the honour of “former base commander and Chief of Air staff (Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir)” whose aero plane was crashed on a routine flight near Kohat at the same year.

The Combat Commanders Schools (CCS) has four Aims:

  1. Application of flying Tactics.
  2. Utilization of weapon systems.
  3. Standardization and Evaluation of various units.
  4. Research and Development in the field of Tactics.

The pilot’s courses are very tough. Once pilots select by the headquarters they experience three courses like the 4 to 5 months combat commander’s course, 3 months weapons course and 4 to 5 weeks fighter integration course. The successful graduates can attain the rank of “wing commander” and “command a squadron”.

Foreign chiefs of air staff visiting the base have been most impressed and surprise at the freedom chosen to the student DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training). CCS has two squadrons under its command.

  1. The “Skybolts” currently flying the “Dassault Mirage 111/5”.
  2. The “Dashings” currently flying the: Chengdu F.7P”.

CCS staff annually visit the all PAF fighter squadrons for enhance and evaluate the combat capabilities.

Incidents:

In 2007 on 1 November, a suicide bomber struck the 50 seat bus moving PAF officers to nearby kirana Ammunition depot, due to this killing 11 people including 7 officers and 28 injuring. The bombing took place on Faisalabad road where a motorcycle loaded with explosives rammed the bus and triggered the blast. All the officers were new staff posted to PAFB Mushaf for training. After that attacks the state of emergency have been imposed.

Pakistan air force (PAF) F-16 Fighting Falcon with personal at Sargodha Mushaf base. The old name of that base was PAF Sargodha base until 2003, then it renamed in the honour of “former base commander and Chief of Air staff (Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir)” whose aero plane was crashed on a routine flight near Kohat at the same year.

On 30 June 2015 the air chief marshal “Sohail Aman” chief of the air staff of Pakistan air force visits the Sargodha Mushaf base. In this picture he is with the combat crew during his visit to combat commander school.

Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed

Rashid Minhas shaheed was pilot officer. He was born on 17 February 1951 in Karachi. He spends early childhood in Lahore and later they shifted in Rawalpindi. He got early education from “St Mary’s Cambridge school Rawalpindi”. He was collecting the models of aircraft and jet due to his interest.

13 March 1971 he got commissioned in 51 st GD (P) course. His aimed that he would to participate in war during his service and want to martyr, at  least that time come very soon and he done fight lonely with lieutenant matiur rahman. When he was flying T-33 jet trainer in Karachi, raham want to go in India with Rashid and jet but Rashid failed his mission and after many physical efforts the jet was crashed near Thatta before 51km from India.

He is national hero of Pakistan and 1st youngest pilot of Pakistan air force that received Nishan.e.haider. In his memories the Pakistan air force base “Kamra” was renamed “PAF base Minhas” and often called “Minhas Kamra”.

Muhammad Mahmood Alam was fighter pilot

M.M.Alam was the best Pakistani fighter pilot and an F-86 sabre flying ace and one star general.

He was born on 6 July 1935 in Kolkata (British India) in very educated family. He joined PAF after secondary education in 1952 and got commissioned on 2 October 1953. He never married due to share financial responsibilities for younger sisters and brothers.

M.M.Alam squadron leader commodore of No 11 squadron and highly experienced pilot in 1965. He is consider a national hero of Pakistan specially his best performance in 1965 indo-Pak war, when he posted in Sargodha and during war he flying F-86 sabre fighter. He downed nine Indian fighters in this war and holds record that having down five Indian aircraft within a minute, four are in 30 second and this was would record. He received Nishan.e.jurat from Pakistani military decoration.

He retired in 1982 when he was Air commodore. He was died in 18 March 2013.

Major road in Lahore name is M.M.Alam road for giving the honor of him.

Flying officer Minhaj.ul.hassan shaheed, he was passed ISSB in 2005 and he got selected as a flying officer to serve the nation. The period of 2005 to 2007 was very hard for him but the shining future was waiting of him. He got commission in 121 GD (P) and the year 2008 in which his dreams become true.

He was very graceful personality; he was smooth nature and friendly behavior. In other words we can say that he was multi talented person.

Finally, 4 Dec in 2009 when he gone masjid along with his father (Lt/Col Fakhar-ul-Hassan ) and younger brother (saad.ul.hassan) for jummah prayer in parade lane masjid Rawalpindi. His mother was making meal for family but she was not aware that his sons and husband not come alive. In masjid due to firing of evil persons many people had martyr and injured and there minhaj his father and brother also martyr. Minhaj had try to save the people from terrorist and he was run to snatch the gun from terrorist but another shoot in his stomach. Before martyr he told whole situation of doctors that are occur in masjid then he embraced martyr.

Allah increase his (his father and younger brother)ranks  in heaven.
