When in Pakistan feel insecurity from terrorist side at the same time Pakistan army play an important role to remove terrorist from Pakistan. Major Abid majeed martyrdom gives a proof of this. At 18 May 2009 Major Abid Majeed’s brother Major Khalid was entrusted the assignment of chronic the area from Shalpalam to Jura whereas Major Abid Majeed’s company was answerable for securing the area from Jura to Naziabad. Major Khalid’s company effectively secured the area followed by Major Abid Majeed’s and therefore Major Abid Majeed’s company was ordered to move forward. During these mission thirteen vehicles of the company moved to safety however the last vehicle came under heavy and targeted of firing near a mullah bend by the militants. The driver of the vehicle embraced martyrdom at the spot and more movement should not possible because road was blocked.

When militants attack on vehicles the situations was very critical the forward troops tried to move back for rescue the active soldiers but the accurate firing from militants sides the movement was not possible that time. Major Abid decided to move back he took two soldiers and give order to engage the militants. They move from rain of bullets and reached injured soldiers and send them to safely place for first aid. Major Abid gives water of injured soldiers and he was try to stop the bleeding of injured and at the same time one fir hit on his shoulder but major Abid is engaging to save the injured then another fir hit his ribs but still major Abid want to complete the task and he dragged the soldiers to a safe place, during these process he was hit again by three bullets and then he fell down. Major Abid before embracing martyrdom he took wireless and talk with brother “Major Khalid” and Major Khalid was 100 meters away.

“Brother I have to pay so much too so and so, do not forget it, take care of the mother and under no circumstances leave the job of eliminating the miscreants incomplete. I wish I could march on to mingora and see it clear of the militants”.

Before the martyrdom major Abid was saved the lives of two injured soldiers. On the martyrdom of major the sepoy Tariq and Nowsharwan (injured soldiers) was cannot control their tears and saying “why Major Sahib why not us”.

Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed was born on 1914 in Hoshiarpur Punjab. He was the only person that received the highest military award for an action of outside the indo-Pak wars.

He was posted as a company commander of a battalion of East Pakistan Rifles in 1958. Indian troops violate international border and want to capture a village area of “Laskhmirpur” of East Pakistan. Major Tufail launched an assault on 7^th August 1958. He divided the soldiers in three groups for the attacks on Indians at the hours of darkness. His soldiers easily reached on the place of enemy but firefight started and they was come under heavy fire and three bullets received major tofail on his stomach but he continued the fight and he want to destroyed the key post of enemy. He done fight with enemy commander by hands and killed him with the hit of steel helmet on his face. He crawled in injuries condition toward enemy post and continued the operation and polling out the Indian force. He was heavily injured and he said to junior officer that “I have completed my duty and the enemy is on the run”. He embraced martyrdom on 7^th August on 1958.

The service period was from 1943 to 1958. The unit was 16^th Punjab regiment East Pakistan Rifles. He was buries in his native city Burewala Punjab with full military honours. His native city was name after his martyrdom is Tufailabad.

Captain Bilal was very brave officer. He was born on 2 February 1982 in Rawalpindi. He got early education from st Paul’s Cambridge school and further studies from postgraduate college Rawalpindi.

He belongs to military background, his father (zafar tajamul) is retired captain from army and grandfather (Lal khan) was subedar who received “st George’s cross” during 1^st world war.

In 2001 he joined Pakistan army and got commissioned into “42 baloch regiment (Al-Havi)” on 12 October 2003, after that he joined SSG.

“Rah.e.rast” operation started in swat district where SSG started an operation “janbaz” for clear the swat valley from militants and his company takes task to clear the swat-Peochar road. During operation he embraced martyr on 17 May 2009 and he buried in native village kehror kotli sattian on 18 may 2009. Government of Pakistan gives him sitara.e.basalat on 62^nd Independence Day of Pakistan. The service period was from 2003 to 2009.

Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed was born in 1928 in Hong Kong to a Muslim Punjabi Rajput family. Before independence they moved to Pakistan and living in the village of Gujarat. The name of his father Abdullah bhatti and mother name was Bibi Amina. He had 2 sisters and four brothers. Aziz bhatti has six siblings in which four sons and 2 daughters.

In 1950 he commissioned to the Punjab regiment. He was very brilliant officer in his career. His academic record was very well and awarded the sword of honour from his 300 officer batch. The 1^st prime minister of Pakistan liaqat Ali khan gave the honours of him.

On 6 September in 1965 he was posted in Burki area of Lahore sector as a company commander. He chose the hard area for fighting where constant firing from Indian artillery and tanks. He fights three days without rest and for defending outpost of Pakistan on the strategic BRB canal he resisted for five days. He was fights with enemies’ very bravery. He was on front area where constant Indians attacks from artillery batteries and he spoiled many Indians attacks. When he was watching the Indian movement then the Indian tank shell hit his chest and he embraced martyrdom on 11 September in 1965.

Before the day of martyrdom the commanding officer send the message for Aziz bhatti that he should take some rest because he was fighting from five days continuously, and commanding officer also said that another officer fights on his place but Aziz bhatti refuse this offer and said he want to fight at the last blood and at last breath of his life for the defence of my homeland.

In Gujarat District he was buried in village of “Ladian”.

He received the highest military award “Nishan.e.haider” on his great martyrdom and bravery.

Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfouz Shaheed was born on 25 October 1944 in pind Malikan, the new name of village is “Mahfuzabad” in Islamabad as the honour of his martyrdom. This village is located in Rawalpindi District Punjab.

On 25 October 1962 he joined Pak Army as an infantry soldier. In 1971 during indo-pak war, the 15^th Punjab regiment deployed in the “Wagah Attari sector” beside the Indian border. In “A” company lance Naik Muhammad Mahfouz was operator of a “light machine gun”. 17 December 1971 his machine gun was destroyed by an Indian shell and heavy fires are comes from enemies sides. During fighting he wounded in his legs and unarmed, but still he handle all situation alone with very bravery, at least he received martyrdom and gave their life for country safety and best future of Pakistan.

He was at lance Naik rank and the service period was 1962 to 1971. He was in 15^th Punjab regiment and performed in two wars like indo-pak war in 1965 and indo-pak war in 1971, and he embraced shahadat on 17 December 1971.

He was awarded the highest military award of “Nishan.e.haider” on 23 March 1972 on his bravery.

Havildar lalak Jan shaheed was born on 1^st April in 1967 at yasin in Ghizer District, this district exist in northern area of Pakistan and now it’s called Gilgit-baltistan. He joined Pakistan army after school and reached at Hawaldar rank.

He was very brave soldier. He was posted in 12 northern light infantry battalion. He faced heavy fatalities during Kargal war and revolted several Indians attacks from his post.

In may, when this news was spread that Indian army preparing a big plan about attack on Pakistan, and at that time lalak Jan was performing his duties at “Coy head quarter” but he want to fight at front area with enemies. Then pak army send him where their enemies feared and there was constant thread exist.

Last week of June in 1999, one night Indian army attacked on lalak post, then lalak Jan and his soldier’s answers his attack with full force and spoils the all enemies attacks.

Indian army attacks on his post on 7 July in 1999 with artillery fire, they attacks from three sides on his post, he continuously spoils attacks from enemies sides. One machine gun fire from enemies hit his chest but he still fight with enemies and during these fight many soldiers embraced martyrdom , after some hours new pak army soldiers reached his post and fight with enemies. Lalak Jan defended his post at the last breath of his life and embraced martyrdom.

He revolted seventeen Indians attacks in three days on his post.

He is eleventh shaheed that received “Nishan.e.haider”.

Sawar Muhammad Hussain Janjua shaheed was born on 18 June 1949 in janjua family in Rawalpindi District Punjab. 3 September 1966, he joined Pakistan army as a driver; he was very young age at that time like 17age. He was in 20^th Lancers Armored regiment. He engaged in every battle and performs his duties in the wars.

5 December 1971 when he was providing bullets, shells and bombs to pak army soldiers on front line and faced very hard condition with powerful bravery. 10 December 1971 when wars was still continue and he performing his duties, near village Harar Khurd he covered the enemy digging in very dangerous situation, when he feel some  hazardous  situation then he want to informed the second in command of his unit but at the same time he set its own plan to answer the Indian action and from some accurate fire he destroyed sixteen enemy tanks and during war the burst machine gun fire hit his chest and he embraced martyrdom on 10 December 1971, when he was 22 years.

Sawar Janjua was only person at very low rank that received the highest military award. His rank was “soldier” and the period of service was from 1966 to 1971.

He received “Nishan.e.haider” on his bravery.

Major Muhammad shabir Sharif Shaheed was born on 28 April 1943 in Kunjah (Gujarat District) and he belongs to Rajput family. His younger brother General Raheel Sharif become chief of the pak army staff in 2013 and he was also nephew of another Nishan.e.haider holder Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed.

He did Matric from St. Anthony’s High School Lahore and when he was in Government College Lahore he received a call to join PMA kakul. On 19 April 1964 he got commissioned in Pakistan army and after training he received sword of honor. He was posted to “6th Battalion” of the Frontier Force Regiment.

In 1971 war he performed his duties very bravery and fulfills much challenge from enemy side. Major Narain Singh of 4 Jat regiment of an Indian company commander and Major Shabir Sharif fight the hand to hand and killed him for recovering valuable information and some documents from his pockets.

He received martyrdom at Okara District Punjab on 1971. The time period of service was from 1964 to 1971. He received three awards like Sword of honor, Sitara-i-Jurat and Nishan.e.haider on his bravery and best performance in Pakistan army service.

Captain Raja Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed was born on 1910 in singhori village Tehsil Gujar khan and he belongs to Rajput family. His service period was from 1929 to 1948 and he was captain in Pakistan army.

In 1944 he got commissioned and posted in 2/ 1^st regiment Punjab. In Northern area is one of the battles of the Kashmir war, he voluntarily participate in this war. During Kashmir operation, the 2^nd Battalion of company commander of Punjab regiment, the captain Sarwar launched attacks on enemy position that’s located in Uri sector and he strongly response the enemy attacks. His battalion has under heavy gredade, mortar fire and machine gun. He moved forward with six soldiers and remove enemies completely then he received a heavy shot fire from machine gun of enemy on his chest. He received martyrdom on 27 July 1948.

He received the highest military award “Nishan.e.haider” on his bravery. Sarwar Shaheed College was name after his martyrdom on his honor.

Captain Meraj shaheed was belongs to “Takhat bai” Mardan in KPK. He did primary from F.G school Peshawar and did intermediate from cadet college razmak North Waziristan Agency and after that joined PMA from 2003 to 2005. He was very talented officer. He was in 112 PMA I/C Khalid company. He was awarded the Sword of honour on passing out on his brave and excellent qualities in training and he was “Academy senior under Officer” (ASUO). Basically he was from 12^th Cavelary regiment but before martyrdom he was serving in FC elite Commando Group “Special Operation Group”.

In 2009 on 4^th June, his unit sends him for rescue the police who got victim of IED blast along with his quick reaction force. When he was reached there he deployed his troops along road and analyzed all situations, he was leading his platoon from front. The militants were hiding beyond the hill and firing. The mission of captain Meraj was to remove the enemies from there. He was moved toward enemies where they were hided, militants attack on his and two fire hit his chest but Captain Meraj moved and hit two militants. These bullets were not spoiled his target and he continuously moved and clear the area from militants then one another bullet hit his chest and at least last and four bullet hit his shoulder and he embraced martyrdom.

On 4^th June 2009 he embraced martyrdom in ambala buner and he was buried in Takhat bai on 5^th June and the day was Friday. He received “Sitara.e.basalat” on his bravery.
