A brief history about Major general shahida malik

Major general Doctor Shahida malik is the first female and high ranking two stars general officer. She was born in Karachi and done MMBS from Fatima Jinnah medical college. She got selected for army medical corps in 1970.

Doctor Shahida malik is the first women that reached two star ranks as well as also first General women in the whole Muslim world. She provided their services in best manner in indo-pak war in 1971 and recipient the highest military decoration. She received two awards like hilal.e.imtiaz and sitara.e.imtiaz.

In 2002 she promoted major general rank to the order of retired general parveez musharif. She retired in 2004 when performing duty as a deputy commander of the Pakistan army medical corps and the service period was 1969 to 2004.
